By virtualization, organizations can efficiently allocate their available computing power to the various applications they are running on their internal or external cloud infrastructure. The main parameter which affects the infrastructure efficiency is the consolidation ratio. This parameter represents the average ratio of virtual guests that can run on a single physical server.

Improving consolidation ratio helps decrease the amount of physical hardware required to run a given amount of application or helps to increase the amount of application that run on the physical infrastructure. Consolidation ratio is the main bottleneck to virtualization performance.

Host Dynamics provides an innovative resource management solution for Cloud infrastructures that allows organizations to double the number of virtual machines running on the existing Hardware with no performance degradation.
